Berms? Where we're going
we don't need berms.

Photo of the Merchantile on the Twin Butte Bunch range.

The Merchantile

The Twin Butte Bunch cowboy range is located just outside of Rexburg, Idaho. The only range in the world where you can shoot the bad guys at the outlaw shack, chase train robbers down the track on a hand-pumped cart, ride in an ore cart after your gold stealin' buddies, hold off the Indians at Fort Fizzle, shoot down from the rocks at the attackers in Wagon Gap, ... and where you won't see a single berm.

That's right, we don't have a single berm. We shoot in the sage brush and lava rock. We have two sections of rail where we can pursue and shoot at the bad guys. We have Fort Fizzle where we often shoot a stage but will always shoot buffalo and elk after the regular match. We have an outlaw shack and corral where we can shoot the cattle thieves who decided to make off with your stock. The possibilities are endless. The only trouble with our range, after you shoot here you won't want to go back to the berms.

If you haven't been here then these photos will show you some of what you're missing. However, we're constantly adding new facilities and targets so these are always incomplete.

Don't know how to get here? Here's a map. If you want more information, see the contacts page for our mailing address and the e-mail addresses or phone numbers of the current officers.

Irony?

"I find it ironic that many human rights advocates and outspoken members of my own entertainment community are often on the front lines to protest repression, for which I applaud them, but they are usually the first ones to oppose any use of force to take care of these horrors that they catalogue repeatedly." — Ron Silver (July 2, 1946 – March 15, 2009)
